This week we completed an inspection on a house with a PWF in Abasand. The studs were visible from the mechanical room. They were 2"x8" at 16" O.C. There was no visible signs of moisture. There was slight bowing on a portion of the PWF but was of no structural concern.

We designed a winch bracket to be used on one of the pontoon boat skids. This allowed for the winch to easily fit onto the boat skid. It was mechanically engineered to allow the full weight of the pontoon to be pulled up from the tailing pond and onto the skid. The concrete foundation walls of this attached garage needed replaced. We designed an ICF foundation to help protect the new wall against frost. During construction the garage roof was supported and the 3 exterior walls removed. McAroe Engineering recently designed and engineered a CAT 797 Front Strut Install Tool for Steepbank Welding in Fort McMurray. McAroe Engineering inspected a Preserved Wood Foundation (PWF) on Cornwall Dr, Fort McMurray. A portion of the back wall needed repaired. We prepared engineered drawings for the contractor. We inspected the repairs and once we were satisfied we issued a PWF Compliance Certificate. We visited Cummins shop and designed a stand to help their mechanics continue work on the engine. No time was wasted. Welders came in right after and fabricated the stand. We completed the design of all the exterior steel studs & produced engineered drawings for Sanatan Mandir, Fort McMurray.
McAroe Engineering just inspected a Preserved Wood Foundation (PWF) on Wolverine Dr, Fort McMurray. A Preserved Wood Foundation Compliance Certificate was then issued.
Design of new PWF (Preserved Wood Foundation) in Prairie Creek, Fort McMurray. The previous ICF foundation was replaced because it was constructed poorly. We used double studs to gain extra strength. Client was Parker Drainage. Providing various Tall Wall Designs to Brook Homes. This wall is for a new house in Beacon Hill. |
